Fly fishing is a distinctive expedition in Bhutan where you get to witness the exotic Himalayan biodiversity, stunning landscapes and cast for the iconic golden Mahseer along the pristine rivers. Known as the tigers of the river, golden mahseer is one of the world’s most prized catches. It is the world’s biggest and strongest fresh water fish. Golden Mahseer is renowned for its strength, size and beauty and has a reputation as one of the world’s hardest fighting fish. They can grow upto 9 ft. in length and over 54 Kgs in weight. The species is also listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
