Microsoft Word - Report on the Organisational Assessment of ABTO
The organisational assessment of ABTO was conducted between October to December 2009 with technical assistance from SNV Bhutan. An assessment team, with representatives from both organisations, was set up and all staff of the ABTO Secretariat actively participated in a number of key events ie. Desk Research, Stakeholders Consultation, Customer Satisfaction Survey, Organisational Behaviour Survey/ Internal Consultations and Stakeholders Workshop. The assessment was carried out alongside ABTO’s regular activities. The report brings together the different phases of the assessment process, highlights key issues raised during the assessment and presents the overall recommendations and way forward for ABTO. The recommendations are
meant to provide the basis and input for the next step in the process for ABTO which is the development of its Strategic Plan for coming 3-5 years. The Strategic Plan once developed will lead to a much clearer understanding and focus on ABTO’s future direction, a strengthened human resource capacity in line with its vision, mission and mandate and improved performance.
